Privacy policy
Meshlab LLC runs this website to describe our work and to hear from people who want to talk about a project. This page explains what the site collects, what we do with it, and how to reach us about it. We do not sell personal information and the site carries no advertising trackers.
What we collect and why
When you send an inquiry through the contact form we receive what you type: your name, email address, an optional phone number, the type of project, an optional budget range and your message. We also record the page you came from and any campaign tags in the address, so we know which of our pages brought you here. We use this to reply to you and to follow up on the project you described.
When you browse, our hosting provider and our own servers record technical details such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. We keep these in short-lived logs to protect the site against abuse and to measure performance.
We measure site traffic with Umami, a privacy-focused analytics service that does not use cookies and does not build profiles of individual visitors. It records page views and a few anonymous events, such as when a contact form is started or submitted.
Where it is kept and who sees it
Inquiries are stored in a database hosted in the United States and are visible only to Meshlab staff who handle sales and projects. A copy of each inquiry is emailed to those staff through our email provider so we can respond quickly.
The website is hosted on Vercel. Analytics are processed by Umami. These providers process data on our behalf and are not permitted to use it for their own purposes.
We do not sell, rent or trade personal information, and we do not share it with advertisers.
Cookies
The public site sets no marketing or tracking cookies. The only cookies used are for the staff sign-in area, which visitors never see.
How long we keep it
We keep inquiries for as long as the conversation or project is active and for a reasonable period afterwards so we can pick a discussion back up. Technical logs are kept briefly and then discarded.
Your choices
You can ask us what personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Send the request through the contact page and we will respond within a reasonable time. Texas residents have these rights under the Texas Data Privacy and Security Act; we extend the same courtesy to everyone.
Changes and contact
If we change how the site handles personal information we will update this page and the date at the top. Questions about this policy can be sent through the contact page.
